Event Organization

SCENE sees forums and workshops as key vehicles for working towards the common aim of increasing uptake and delivery of community renewable energy projects. Engagement with the widest possible stakeholder network is crucial in understanding and overcoming barriers. To this end we organised the first annual Sustainable Community Energy Investment Forum in collaboration with several of our partners, in October 2011. We are currently working with the UK Energy Research Council and The University of Edinburgh in organising an event targeted at the renewable energy business community on the co-benefits of community engagement.
